About
Ylang-ylang flower wax — a fragrant waxy botanical with emollient use but significant fragrance-allergen content. Treat as a fragrance.
Cananga odorata flower cera (ylang-ylang flower wax) is the wax fraction recovered during essential-oil production of ylang-ylang. It shares much of the sensitizing fragrance chemistry of the oil — benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, geraniol, linalool, and eugenol are all typical constituents, multiple of which are EU Annex III declared fragrance allergens. Ylang-ylang oil is also a frequent contact-dermatitis cause in clinic-patch series. IFRA applies use-level restrictions.
Skin benefits
- Natural floral fragrance wax

Known concerns
