About
An amine oxide surfactant derived from C8-10 alcohol ethoxylates, used for its thickening and cleansing properties.
Dihydroxyethyl C8-10 Alkoxypropylamine Oxide is an ethoxylated amine oxide with C8-10 alkyl chains. Amine oxides are non-ionic at neutral pH but become cationic under acidic conditions. They are widely used in cosmetics as viscosity boosters, foam enhancers, and conditioning agents. C8-10 chains are considered readily biodegradable. The ingredient is not listed on EU Annex II or III. Minor concerns exist around nitrosamine formation if used with日照 preservatives in the same formulation.
