About
A C9-11 branched alcohol-derived amine oxide surfactant used primarily for foam enhancement and viscosity control in personal care formulations.
Dihydroxyethyl C9-11 Alkoxypropylamine Oxide is structurally similar to other dihydroxyethyl alkoxypropylamine oxides but with slightly more branched C9-11 alkyl chains. Branched-chain amine oxides are generally considered mild surfactants with good biodegradability. The ingredient is not subject to specific EU restrictions. As with other amine oxides, formulation care is needed regarding nitrosamine formation with secondary amines.

- foam enhancement
- viscosity building
