About
Soy fiber — a plant-based fibrous material used for absorbency, bulking, and mild film-forming. Note: soy is a declared food allergen.
Glycine max (soybean) fiber is the cellulosic residue left after protein and oil extraction from soybeans. In cosmetics it provides absorbent, bulking, and mild film-forming function. The raw material is food-grade and widely used across personal care; EU CosIng lists it without restriction. Soy is, however, a declared food allergen in multiple jurisdictions and dermal sensitization in atopic individuals is possible. No GHS hazard class is assigned.
