Hexoprenaline is a cosmetic ingredient used in product formulations. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Hexoprenaline (CAS 3215-70-1) is a synthetic sympathomimetic amine with potent beta-2 adrenergic agonist activity, used as a bronchodilator in human and veterinary medicine. It is not listed in EU CosIng as a permitted cosmetic ingredient, and its pharmacological mode of action (systemic beta-2 stimulation affecting heart rate, bronchodilation, and uterine relaxation) is entirely incompatible with cosmetic application. No safe use level for topical exposure has been established.
