About
An ethoxylated branched C12 alcohol used as a surfactant and emulsifier with no EU restrictions.
Isolaureth-3 is the polyethylene glycol ether of a branched dodecanol (C12) isomer, providing surfactant properties. Branched ethoxylated alcohols are widely used in cosmetics as they offer good cleaning performance with mildness. It is not listed in EU Cosmetics Regulation Annexes II or III. The branched structure can improve cold-temperature performance and reduce pour point compared to linear analogues.
