Norethandrolone is a cosmetic ingredient used in product formulations. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Norethandrolone (CAS 52-78-8) is a 19-nor anabolic steroid (derivative of testosterone with a carbon removed from the A-ring) with both anabolic and androgenic activity, previously investigated as a pharmaceutical agent. EU Annex II of Regulation 1223/2009 bans this substance as a hormonal anabolic steroid with no permissible cosmetic use. Its endocrine-disrupting potential is the primary regulatory concern.
