Oleamine oxide (CAS 14351-50-9) is an amine oxide derived from oleylamine, used as a surfactant and conditioning agent in cosmetics. PubChem CID 6435847 shows no major hazard flags. It is not listed in EU Annex II or III under Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. However, like other amine oxides, it has been flagged for potential nitrosamine formation in SCCS assessments. It is used at low concentrations in rinse-off formulations.
