PEG-6 Diisostearate is a polyethylene glycol (6 mol EO) diester of isostearic acid, functioning primarily as a solubilizer and skin-conditioning agent in cosmetic formulations. It is not listed in EU Annexes II–VI and carries no harmonized restrictions under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. Like all low-EO PEG esters, it may contain trace 1,4-dioxane as a manufacturing by-product.
