About
The water-soluble fraction of avocado fruit (hydrosol). Gentle, food-grade, naturally mineral-rich. Very safe for most users.
Persea Gratissima Fruit Water (CAS 8024-32-6) is the water-soluble hydrosol obtained from avocado (Persea americana/gratissima) fruit processing, typically as a co-product of avocado oil production. It contains water-soluble minerals (potassium), soluble fruit sugars, and trace polyphenols. In cosmetics it is used as a humectant and natural-positioning aqueous base for toners and mists. The parent food is exhaustively characterized. Avocado allergy is rare but documented, particularly in individuals with latex-fruit syndrome. Like all aqueous botanicals, robust preservation is required. Typical use 1-30% in water-phase formulations.
