A synthetic version of a viper venom protein — designed to mimic the muscle-relaxing effects of snake venom for anti-wrinkle benefits.
s-Viper Cysteine-Rich Venom Protein is a synthetic 10-amino-acid peptide identical to a cysteine-rich protein found in Russell's viper (Daboia russelii) venom. It may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. In cosmetics, venom-mimetic peptides are marketed for their neuromodulatory effects to reduce fine lines. No GHS hazards, no EU restrictions. The synthetic production eliminates risks associated with natural venom.
