About
A yeast ferment enriched with calcium ions used as a skin-conditioning ingredient; Saccharomyces ferments have an excellent safety record in cosmetics and cosmetics, and the mineral enrichment adds conditioning benefits.
Saccharomyces/Calcium Ferment is the fermentation product of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (baker's yeast) in the presence of calcium ions. The fermentation process creates a complex mixture including bioactive peptides, organic acids, enzymes, and mineral complexes. Saccharomyces ferments are widely used in K-beauty and premium skincare with an excellent safety record. Not restricted in EU Regulation 1223/2009 Annex II or III. Calcium contributes to skin barrier support and is an essential mineral for skin homeostasis. The fermentation process may enhance bioavailability of yeast-derived nutrients.
