About

A synthetic 16-amino-acid fragment of human filaggrin — a key protein that maintains your skin's moisture barrier.

This synthetic peptide replicates a 16-amino-acid segment of human filaggrin, a critical protein in skin barrier formation. Filaggrin aggregates keratin filaments and is metabolized into Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) components. Filaggrin mutations are linked to eczema and dry skin. Topical application of filaggrin peptides aims to supplement barrier function. No GHS hazards or restrictions.
