Derived from EU CosIng regulatory status, PubChem hazard data and published research. How we score.
A larger histidine-rich peptide analogue of the tripeptide variant, used for similar anti-aging and conditioning benefits.
Tetrapeptide-105 bis-cyclohexylpropyl histidinamide is a four-amino-acid peptide with the same cyclohexylpropyl histidinamide capping as the tripeptide analogue (tripeptide-107). The additional amino acid in the peptide chain may slightly modify the activity and receptor interaction profile. Both cyclohexyl groups and histidinamide residues are well-tolerated structural elements in topical formulations. The tetrapeptide version offers a different potency and binding profile compared to the tripeptide, allowing formulation flexibility. Not restricted under EU cosmetics law.
