About
A mild amphoteric surfactant derived from behenic acid that gently cleanse skin while maintaining the natural skin barrier.
Behenamidopropyl Betaine is an amphoteric surfactant derived from behenic acid (C22), one of the longest fatty chains used in cosmetic surfactants. It is not restricted under EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and demonstrates excellent skin compatibility with very low irritation potential even in sensitive-skin formulations. It is widely used in combination with anionic surfactants (like SLES) to reduce overall formulation irritability while boosting foam quality.
