About

A dairy-derived cream from bovine colostrum — protein- and growth-factor-rich. Rich and conditioning for most skin, but a no for dairy allergies.

Colostrum cream is the fat-rich fraction of bovine colostrum, the first-milk secretion produced in the days after calving. It contains immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, casein, whey proteins, milk lipids, and measurable amounts of growth factors (IGF-1, TGF-beta). In cosmetics it functions as a skin-conditioning and emollient ingredient. No CIR monograph, no EU CosIng restriction. The main caveats are milk-protein allergy contraindication, a microbiological-substrate nature requiring solid preservation, and variability between farms/suppliers. Growth-factor activity is modest at cosmetic dilutions.
