About
Crushed cucumber fruit — a classic soothing ingredient packed with vitamins and water that cools, hydrates, and calms irritated skin.
Cucumis Sativus Fruit is the crushed fruit of the common cucumber (Cucumis sativus L., Cucurbitaceae). Rich in water (~96%), vitamins C and K, caffeic acid, and cucurbitacins, it has been used for centuries in skincare for its cooling, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties. Studies show cucumber extracts possess antioxidant and mild astringent activity. The CIR Expert Panel reviewed Cucumis sativus-derived ingredients and found them safe as used in cosmetics. No GHS hazards or EU restrictions apply.
