Deceth-6 Phosphate is an alkyl ether phosphate surfactant that functions as a cleansing agent and emulsifier in cosmetic formulations. It is not listed in EU Cosmetics Regulation Annexes II–VI. Alkyl ether phosphates are generally of low acute toxicity; however, as with all surfactants, skin and eye irritation is possible at high concentrations or in susceptible individuals.
