About
A dialkyl quaternary ammonium salt (C22 chain) used as a highly effective hair conditioning agent with excellent safety data in cosmetic formulations.
Dibehenylidimonium Chloride is the C22 dialkyl quaternary ammonium analog, structurally similar to behentrimonium chloride (C22). Under EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, dialkyl quaternary ammonium compounds with long-chain alkyls are permitted conditioning agents. The C22 chain provides excellent conditioning without the concerns associated with shorter-chain quats.
