About
A low-to-mid ethoxylation oleyl alcohol surfactant used as an emulsifier and co-surfactant in a variety of cosmetic products, providing good oil-dispensing properties without significant skin penetration concerns.
Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), α-9-(Z)-octadecenyl-ω-hydroxy with an average of 8 mol EO. Classified as a nonionic surfactant with emulsifying and co-surfactant functions. No EU restriction entries in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009; listed in CosIng without Annex II or III classification. The 8 mol EO chain provides moderate water solubility suitable for emulsifier and co-surfactant roles.
