A low-to-mid ethoxylation oleyl alcohol surfactant used as an emulsifier and co-surfactant in a variety of cosmetic products, providing good oil-dispensing properties without significant skin penetration concerns.
Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), α-9-(Z)-octadecenyl-ω-hydroxy with an average of 8 mol EO. Classified as a nonionic surfactant with emulsifying and co-surfactant functions.
