A PEG glyceride stearate with 15 ethylene oxide units, used as a solubiliser and emulsifier in skin and hair care products.

PEG-15 Glyceryl Stearate is a PEG monoglyceride with stearic acid and 15 mol ethylene oxide. The moderate EO chain provides good balance between water solubility and emulsifying power. EU Regulation 1223/2009 permits this ingredient; no restrictions exist in EU Annex II or III. Standard purity requirements for PEG-based ingredients apply. Widely used in facial moisturisers and body lotions.
