A sturgeon-derived recombinant copper-zinc superoxide dismutase produced in Pichia pastoris with strong antioxidant properties.

A recombinant protein identical to Superoxide Dismutase [Cu-Zn] from Acipenser schrenckii, produced in Pichia pastoris. Copper-zinc SOD is one of the most studied antioxidant enzymes, with extensive safety data in both cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. No EU regulatory restrictions or GHS hazard classifications apply. Yeast-derived production is well-controlled.
