About
A triethanolamine salt of lauroyl sarcosine used as a secondary surfactant, known for its mildness and good foaming performance.
TEA-Lauroyl Sarcosinate is subject to the same EU Annex III entry 62 restriction as other sarcosinate derivatives: free sarcosine must not exceed 0.5% in the final cosmetic product. Triethanolamine salt is generally well-tolerated, though rare sensitivities to triethanolamine (TEA) exist. The ingredient is considered significantly milder than anionic surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). It is widely used in facial cleansers, shampoos, and body washes for its gentle cleansing and foam-boosting properties.

- very mild cleansing
- excellent foaming
