A PEG glyceride derived from capric acid, used as an emulsifier and solubiliser in cosmetic formulations.

PEG-6 Glyceryl Caprate is a monoglyceride ester of capric acid (C10) with 6 mol ethylene oxide. Capric acid PEG esters are well-established cosmetic ingredients valued for their mildness and effectiveness. EU cosmetics regulation permits this ingredient; it is not listed in EU Annex II or III. The medium-chain caprate provides good water solubility and excellent skin compatibility.
