A single-chain synthetic human Hyaluronan Synthase 2 protein produced via E. coli fermentation. Contains up to 552 amino acids with possible disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. Hyaluronan synthase enzymes produce hyaluronic acid, a natural skin hydrator. Human-derived recombinant versions have established cosmetic safety profiles under EU regulation EC 1223/2009.
