About
A high-molecular-weight PEG glyceride isostearate, used as a solubiliser and emulsifier in various personal care products.
PEG-40 Glyceryl Isostearate contains 40 mol ethylene oxide, providing high water solubility and excellent solubilising properties for essential oils and fragrance oils. EU Regulation 1223/2009 permits this ingredient with standard purity requirements. The high EO content means careful control of residual solvents is essential. No EU Annex II or III restrictions apply.

- Effective emulsifier for clear aqueous formulations
- Skin conditioning and emollient properties
Known concerns
