A high-EO PEG glyceride stearate used as an emulsifier, particularly in formulations requiring strong solubilisation.
PEG-40 Glyceryl Stearate is a PEGylated monoglyceride with 40 mol EO and stearic acid. The high EO chain provides superior water solubility compared to lower-EO variants. EU cosmetics regulation permits it with standard purity specifications. PEG-40 stearate variants are widely used in solubilising fragrance oils and are common in facial cleansers, body washes, and lotions. No EU Annex restrictions apply.
