About

A 388-residue E. coli fusion peptide combining rainbow trout sequence with a large human-mimicking polypeptide domain, serving as an antioxidant and multi-functional skin/hair ingredient.

This is one of the largest fusion peptides in the batch at 388 amino acids, combining rainbow trout s-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Polypeptide-149, and Hexapeptide-40. The large molecular size significantly limits skin penetration, consistent with SCCS guidance that peptides above ~500 Da have minimal dermal absorption. No EU restrictions apply; the ingredient is subject to general product safety provisions under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 Article 3. The recombinant protein is produced in E. coli and purified via standard chromatography steps.
